Gemforging[]
Imbuing an existing weapon takes the normal PPD and silver cost for that weapon type but the additive materials are required. Weapons must be melted and re-smelted with the additives.
Repairing Gem Weapons requires melting and re-smelting of the damaged weapon. The only way a Gem Weapon may be repaired beyond special abilities is with a Repair solution made by an alchemist.

Additional Gemforging Information[]
Gemforging requires not only the gem one is wanting to make an item out of, but also an equal amount of diamond to stabilize the mixture. In general, a recipe requires the same number of gems (and diamonds) as production points.
Gemforged items require natural "pure" gems to create, but can be maintained with Alchemically created "impure" gems.
